Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 29, 2025
Last Updated: October 29, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Keep ’Em Out (“Keep ’Em Out,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, www.keepemout.com, and the products and services we offer, including vehicle rodent-protection products, sanitation and decontamination services, custom barrier installations, maintenance solutions, consultations, and related services.
By accessing our website, placing an order, requesting a quote, scheduling a service, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website or services.
2. Our Products and Services
Keep ’Em Out provides products and services designed to help protect vehicles from rodent intrusion, contamination, and related damage.
Our offerings may include:
Vehicle sanitation, cleaning, and decontamination.
Custom rodent-resistant barriers and protective installations.
Rodent-guard filters and related products.
Vehicle inspections, consultations, maintenance recommendations, and repair estimates.
The availability, scope, and pricing of our products and services may vary based on your vehicle, its condition, product compatibility, the extent of contamination or damage, and other relevant factors.
Descriptions, photographs, illustrations, and other information on our website are provided for general informational purposes. We reserve the right to update product descriptions, service offerings, and website content as necessary.
3. Quotes, Estimates, and Service Authorization
Certain services require an individual assessment or customized quote before work begins.
Any quote or estimate we provide is based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if an inspection reveals additional contamination, concealed damage, inaccessible areas, labor requirements, or other conditions that could not reasonably be identified beforehand.
We will communicate material changes to the proposed scope or cost and obtain your authorization before proceeding with additional work, except where otherwise permitted by applicable law or expressly agreed upon.
A quote or estimate does not constitute a guarantee that all vehicle issues have been identified or that additional repairs will not be necessary.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your vehicle, its condition, and any known concerns relevant to the requested service.
4. Appointments, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by Keep ’Em Out.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Any applicable cancellation fees, deposits, rescheduling requirements, or missed-appointment policies will be communicated to you before you agree to the applicable booking.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment when reasonably necessary due to circumstances such as staffing, parts availability, safety concerns, unforeseen service conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and arrange an alternative appointment where appropriate.
5. Online Orders and Payments
Product prices, service prices, and applicable charges will be presented during the purchasing or quoting process.
By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete billing, contact, shipping, and other information required to process your transaction.
You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the total amount disclosed at checkout, including applicable taxes and shipping charges.
Unless otherwise stated, product orders are subject to availability and acceptance. We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors, decline orders where permitted by law, and contact you if additional information is required to fulfill your purchase.
If an order cannot be fulfilled after payment has been collected, we will communicate the available options and provide any refund required under our stated policies and applicable law.
6. Product Compatibility, Installation, and Use
You are responsible for verifying that a product is suitable for your vehicle before purchasing or installing it. Where compatibility depends on make, model, year, configuration, or other vehicle-specific information, please consult the applicable product information or contact us for assistance.
Unless expressly included in your purchase, product prices do not necessarily include professional installation, vehicle inspection, or additional modifications.
Products must be used and installed according to their applicable instructions and intended purpose. Improper installation, unauthorized modifications, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow maintenance instructions may affect product performance.
If you are uncertain whether a product is appropriate for your vehicle, we recommend contacting us before ordering or attempting installation.
7. Rodent Protection and Service Limitations
Our products and services are designed to help reduce the risk of rodent intrusion, contamination, and related vehicle damage. However, no protective measure can guarantee complete or permanent prevention of rodent activity.
The effectiveness of any solution may depend on factors outside our control, including the vehicle’s design and condition, environmental conditions, surrounding rodent populations, food sources, parking location, existing entry points, and ongoing maintenance.
Unless expressly provided in a separate written warranty or service agreement, we do not guarantee that:
Rodents will never enter or nest in your vehicle.
All existing or concealed contamination will be identified or removed.
All existing or future vehicle damage will be prevented.
A protective product or installation will remain effective indefinitely without inspection or maintenance.
Our services are intended to provide preventive or remedial assistance, not an absolute guarantee against future damage.
8. Vehicle Condition and Customer Responsibilities
Before leaving your vehicle with us for service, please remove or secure valuables and personal belongings.
You agree to disclose known vehicle issues, relevant warning indicators, existing damage, and other conditions that could affect the safety or completion of the requested work.
We may document the vehicle’s condition before and after service when reasonably necessary for service records, quality control, or dispute resolution, subject to our applicable privacy practices.
If inspection reveals additional damage or conditions requiring work outside the agreed scope, we will discuss the appropriate next steps with you.
You remain responsible for maintaining your vehicle and arranging any additional mechanical, electrical, or other repairs that fall outside the scope of our authorized services.
9. Health and Safety
Rodent contamination may involve droppings, urine, nesting materials, damaged insulation, and other potentially hazardous substances. Cleaning and decontamination may reduce contamination but cannot guarantee the elimination of every biological or environmental hazard.
Customers should follow applicable safety recommendations and seek qualified professional advice where necessary.
Keep ’Em Out does not provide medical advice, and information on our website should not be interpreted as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare or environmental-health professional.
10. Refunds, Returns, and Service Concerns
Product returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the applicable return policy presented at the time of purchase and any rights provided by applicable law.
If you receive an incorrect, defective, or damaged product, please contact us promptly with your order details and a description of the issue so we can review the matter.
Because service work may involve vehicle-specific assessments, labor, materials, and customized installations, service payments and refunds may be handled differently from retail product returns. Any applicable deposit, cancellation, or refund terms will be communicated before you authorize the service.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
11. Limited Warranties
Any manufacturer’s warranty, product warranty, installation warranty, or service guarantee will apply according to its written terms, if one is provided.
Unless expressly stated in writing, Keep ’Em Out does not make any additional warranty or guarantee regarding the performance, durability, suitability, or results of a product or service beyond those required by applicable law.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12. Website Use and Acceptable Conduct
You agree to use our website and services lawfully and responsibly.

13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website and its contents—including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, product descriptions, designs, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Keep ’Em Out and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and use these materials for personal, noncommercial purposes in connection with reviewing or purchasing our products and services.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, manufacturers, or other external services.
These third parties operate independently of Keep ’Em Out. We do not control their websites, policies, products, or practices, and we are not responsible for their content or services except as required by applicable law.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal or payment information.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our website and its general informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We also do not warrant that all website content will be complete, current, or suitable for every individual circumstance.
Nothing on our website constitutes a guarantee of a particular outcome from any product or service.
This section does not exclude any express written warranty or legal protection that applies to your purchase or that cannot lawfully be disclaimed.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Keep ’Em Out will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of our website, products, or services, including loss of profits, loss of use, or loss of data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, misuse of products, failure to follow instructions, undisclosed vehicle conditions, or rodent activity that occurs despite reasonable preventive measures.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, death or personal injury where liability cannot legally be limited, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Any other limitation of liability will apply only to the extent permitted by law.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of our website or your material violation of these Terms, including violations of another party’s rights.
This section does not require you to indemnify Keep ’Em Out for losses caused by our own conduct where such an obligation would be prohibited by law.
18. Privacy
Your use of our website and services may involve the collection and processing of personal information, such as contact details, vehicle information, appointment requests, and order information.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
By using our website, you acknowledge that personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and relevant privacy laws.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, products, services, legal obligations, or website operations.
Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Changes will take effect as required by applicable law.
Your continued use of our website or services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with a revision, you should discontinue the affected use of our website or services.
20. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our website or services will be handled by the courts with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights or dispute-resolution requirements that apply to you.
Nothing in this section deprives consumers of rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
21. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with any applicable written service agreement, product warranty, return policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement governing your use of our website and the relevant products or services, to the extent applicable.
Any specific written agreement between you and Keep ’Em Out will govern where it expressly addresses a matter differently and is legally enforceable.
